Suzuran Bar
Hidden in quite alleys, Suzuran keeps you away from noisy metropolis and traffic sounds. Well thought out interior helps you feel the atmosphere of alluring underground with notes of mystery and even philosophy: old piano, melted candles and skulls all over the bar, hanging bulbs with dimmed yellow light and, of course, lighting cross on the wall behind the bar counter. By projecting writings on the wall, the creators remind you that “Suzuran is watching you” and “Suzuran loves you”.
Suzuran Bar always welcomes famous Moscow and European mixologists, organizes musical performances with guitar and piano players and DJs on weekends. Every Thursday you can enjoy rock and jazz. Art Director Chris Helmbrecht plays the role of modern music director who fills the bar only with high-quality sound.
The Cocktail Carte, which is titled “Drink your sins”, is composed by Chef Alexey Komarov, who has been involved in such projects as Noor, Bad Boy Bar, and Hooligan.
Suzuran Bar offers you to wash down seven sins with dry strong and fresh tropic cocktails as well as with tea and sour cocktails. Snooty cocktail, which combines Campari, gin, Amaretto and grapefruit, served with home-made meringue and powder from tea rose petals, will make you forget about vanity. Strong dessert cocktail Greedy is made from spicy rum and dark cacao liquor mixed with lime juice and white and served with dark chocolate. For those who suffer from laziness, Suzuran has prepared Lazy Bones with tannic
Darjeeling tea, home-made Rooibos syrup, Martini Spiritto and spicy rum, served with thyme. Chili brandy Pisco, Aperol, passion fruit and fresh pineapple are mixed into Gula cocktail, which is served with Alpine greens. For the dessert get ready to enjoy skull-shaped chocolate fondant. Over 20 sorts of tobacco and professional masters will make you hookah time so relaxing that you’d like to extend your night at Suzuran.
The main menu is not less tempting: assorted bruschetta, Caesar salad with crab, cream-soup with ricotta and shrimps, tagliatta with ruccola, ravioli with salmon.
Suzuran Bar is a place for real people, who appreciate friendly atmosphere of underground style, original cuisine and bar and listen to good music.
