Kaluzhskaya Zastava

Kaluzhskaya Zastava is a country-style restaurant complex on the 47th kilometre of Kaluzhskoye Highway, set within a pine woodland estate near Moscow. The grounds cover two hectares and combine restaurant dining with spaces for celebrations, outdoor meals and family leisure. The setting gives the venue a relaxed, nature-oriented character while keeping the focus on food and organised events.

The restaurant serves dishes prepared over charcoal, including meat and fish, alongside salads, appetisers and house specialities from the chef. The barbecue offering suits a meal centred on freshly cooked food, while the wider menu provides lighter options for sharing or a more informal lunch. The venue also provides delivery and catering services for occasions held away from the complex.

The main restaurant occupies two levels. The first floor has tables overlooking the surrounding nature, while the upper floor contains a chalet-style banquet hall. Additional event areas include the European banquet hall, a VIP room, spacious summer terraces and marquees. These facilities support weddings, corporate events, ceremonies and larger private gatherings, with different formats available across the grounds.

Outdoor dining is an important part of the experience. Forest dining cabins offer a more private setting for meals, while the terraces and marquees provide open-air spaces for seasonal occasions. Live musical performances are held at weekends, adding an evening entertainment element to restaurant visits. The complex also includes the Bavarian guest house, although the restaurant and event facilities remain the main focus for day visitors.

Families are catered for through a children’s playground and a contact zoo on the property. The combination of woodland surroundings, outdoor seating and family facilities makes the venue suitable for group lunches, celebrations and leisurely meals outside the city. Guarded parking is available on site, which is useful for visitors arriving by car along the highway. Kaluzhskaya Zastava is open daily from the morning until late evening, with table, cabin and banquet reservations handled by the venue.
