The Elargy restaurant is located within the heart of Moscow in a mansion that is an architectural masterpiece. However, it is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre and conveniently located on the cozy Arbat street. The Elargy restaurant is also unique in that, apart from being a restaurant, it is also a small oasis with many lesiure activities for its clients and even has live wild animals.
The restaurant's interior is covered in warm pastel tones, inviting plush sofas and fragrant oriental waterpipes. It is a perfect place for leisure-loving couples seeking privacy as well as a group of friends or colleagues looking for a good time out. The spacious veranda adds a different dimension to the Elargy restaurant and in fine weather, together with the interior decor, really reflects a Mediterranean style.
But the main highlight of the restaurant has certainly got to be the cuisine. Hearty and genuine Georgian food is prepared by Chef Dzanavy based on recipes passed on from his mother and grandmother. Elargy is very popular for its traditional Georgian dishes and people comes from all over the place for this specific reason.
Guests can not only enjoy an intimate conversation over a glass of wine, but also a game of checkers, chess, backgammon, table tennis, badminton. And on Sundays, in a small courtyard on the green lawn, families and children enjoy their holidays and outings. Kids are entertained in a special area with swings, a slide and even a hammock... giving parents time to socialize and relax. Animals are eveyrone's favourite and Elargy has its own little zoo with rabbits and goats. Other entertainment includes '35 mm' films, a small ice rink, regular photo and art exhibitions, as well as cooking shows and various workshops.
Elargy goes beyong a normal restaurant concept. It is a place to enjoy delicious food but also for the entire family to be entertained.
