China Dream

China Dream is a unique Chinese restaurant in Moscow targeted at the higher end of the market with prices to match. Clients include prominent local businessmen and diplomats from China and Taiwan. Such discerning clients expect the best and China Dream delivers the best both in terms of cuisine and in service.

A well-known designer from China worked on the interiors of China Dream and this is immediately evident as soon as entering the restaurant. A Buddha statue, that is apparently 500 years old, greets visitors at the entrance. A glass floor passes over dragons statues in white stone that are revered characters of Chinese mythology. A bridge passing over a pond with fountains takes guests to the main room of the restaurant. In addition, China Dream has a number of VIP-rooms individually decorated in different styles.

Chinese restaurants tend to go over the top with interior decoration, usually creating too much of a gaudy and flamboyant interior. China Dream is however tastefully and stylishly designed and has achieved a rare combination of being rich but also very elegant.

The skilled Chefs at China Dream prepare a variety of dishes inspired by various provinces around China, each one more delicious than the previous. And in typical Chinese tradition, dish portions are abundant so that clients can choose how much too eat and never left wanting more. The menu conveniently marks the spiciness of the food (ranging from 1 to 3 stars) and vegetarian and exotic dishes are available too. More recently, a few Japanese dishes were also added to the menu due to increased demand for them.
