Here's a pro tip: buy a combined ticket for the Kremlin’s museums and cathedrals and avoid the long lines, especially on weekends. If you have time, stroll through Kitay-Gorod district after your landmark visits; it holds some of the oldest historic buildings and has just the kind of charm that makes you feel like you slipped back in time.
