The State Museum of V. Mayakovsky

Moscow

The State museum of V. Mayakovsky is located in the heart of Moscow, near the Lubyanka Square, within walking distance of the Kremlin.
This is the home museum of one of the giant poets and colorful figures of young revolutionary Russia. In this house Vladimir Mayakovsky lived and worked from 1919 to 1930 and shot himself on 14th of April, 1930. Being one of the biggest representatives of Futuristic style and Russian avant-garde, this home museum definitely still retains Mayakovsky's spirit and charisma. This museum is a very special place in Moscow, where it's still possible to feel the power of creativity of Russia Soviet Union period.
