Victory Park is an open air museum on Poklonnaya hill, if you're looking for special evidence about WWR II, visit WWR II museum with most famous park diorama - six impressive compositions, which illustrate the main battles against the Nazis. Find unique collections of archive materials including videos, audio records, documents and old photos. The park is known for its aspiring obelisk which is over 140 meters high. It's shaped as a three side bayonet, at the top is covered with bronze bas-reliefs and has a bronze sculpture group with Nike, Greek Goddess of Victory, carrying a wreath, accompanied with two angels trumpeting victory.
While simply walking around the park you'll be amazed to see a lot of tanks, cannons, jets and other weapons from different countries that took part in the war. There are four memorial temples: Georgiy Pobedonocez Church (Saint George Church), Memorial mosque, Synagogue, Catholic Chapel which were all built to remember war victims.
There are beautiful singing fountains, flower compositions, comfortable cafes and inspiring architectural monuments with vast space for roller blading and cycling tours that make this park a must see in Moscow.
