Laboratoria is the first non-profit research center in Russia, focused on constructing the platforms of interdisciplinary interaction between contemporary art and science, establishing a new type of relationship between art, science and society, in which new forms and currents of creative energy are redirected and reset. Laboratoria is aimed at creating a community interested in the interplay between art and science as a vital and promising resource for a further development.
Laboratoria Art and Science can be definitely considered as a starting point for developing the international autonomous art&science territory. Recently, Director and Curator of Laboratoria Daria Pakhomentko has become a laureate of the Cariatida prize for the achievements of female organizers in the field of contemporary art.
