RIGA FLOWER MARKET

Riga (Rizhskiy) Market has one of the largest selections of flowers in Moscow. Local florists go to Riga Market to buy fresh flowers at wholesale prices. Roses are usually priced at 50 rubles each, lilies - 100 rubles each. Flowers are sold in boxes to wholesale customers and in bouquets for retail. You can even find one meter tall bamboo or an exotic palm. Whilst this is great value, be careful and check your purchase for quality as some sellers may try to get rid of the last week's leftovers.
The best time to come here is the middle of the week when there is abundant choice and flowers are fresh. The worst time is during holidays.
