'Perekrestok' supermarket chain ('Crossroad') is one of oldest in the history of Russian retail business. The first supermarket was opened in 1995 in Moscow. 'Perekrestok' was also the first in the country to produce food and non-food products under its own label.
Chain stores also include 14 premium supermarkets under the brand 'Zeleny Perekrestok' ('Green Crossroad'), offering delicacies from all over the world.
