The Metropolis is one of the largest and newest shopping malls in Moscow, which opened in January 2009. Spread over a vast territory of 241,000 square metres (which is around 60 000 acres) there is everything you need in order to immerse yourself into to the indulgent world of shopping. You will find more than two hundred shops under one roof at the Metropolis including the hypermarket 'Karusel', electronic store 'M Video', department store 'Stockmann', Marks and Spencers, New Yorker, H&M, River Island and GAP, Zara and Zara Home and much more from clothing to accessories, underwear, shops for kids, shoes and bags, health and beauty, sport and leisure goods, jewellery and home decor.
On the Metropolis website you will find an interactive map to find all the outlets available and their location. Apart of the shops there is a twelve hall cinema with ultra-modern interiors and a Dolby Digital Surround EX System located on the third floor. A bowling club, twenty-two cafes and restaurants (including Starbucks) are all within the Metropolis complex.
Other services include a bank, ATM, travel agency, pharmacy, shoe repairs, dry cleaning, photo shop, flower shop and much more. Information desks are found on each floor.
All the Metropolis building is equipped with modern security and fire systems and fully accessible for disabled persons. There is large underground pay car park for over a thousand vehicles and a multi storey pay car park with close to two thousand car spaces.
