Berlin Bar
Here you can get comfortable at bar counter under the curly lamps, or plunge into sofas, or simply stand anywhere around ready to show some dance moves. It will be easy in Berlin Bar, since Chris Helmbrecht, perhaps, the most famous German in Moscow, is responsible for music. Chris was born in Munich, lived in New York and worked at night clubs all over the world (Tresor, Café Moskau, Bunker, XIT Club and Forum Bar). In the beginning of 2000s, having moved to Moscow, he launched a series of parties named “Labelfucker”, which became extremely popular among expats. Today Chris is an Art Director of Suzuran and Berlin Bar. Staying in strong connection with expat world of Moscow, Chris had made everything in Berlin Bar meet their needs: high-quality music by local and European DJs, bilingual menu and professional staff behind the bar counter.
The main person in the bar is Sergey Niyazov, who worked in Chateau De Fantomas, Bar Belka, Bruce Lee, Suzuran Bar. You can find a wide range of beverages at reasonable prices in Niyazov’s carte – avant-guard (vegan sour, eu gosto disto and ocimum bergamia) is perfectly balanced with classics (angel face, negroni and old fashion). Sergey’s team members have participated in many well-known competitions, as Bacardi Legacy Cocktail Competition, Diageo Reserve World Class, Martini Gran Lusso, and others.
Berlin Bar offers its guests never-to-be-forgotten Currywurst (sometimes arranged by Chris to his home recipes), meat-balls Bulette with German potato salad (also to an ancient recipe of Helmbrecht family), Rollmops – herring rolled with cucumbers, capers and onions. All this is accompanied with Radeberger beer or pear schnaps. Berlin Bar cares about wine-lovers too – farm cheese plate, bruschettas, canapé, shrimps with Sriracha sauce, roast-beef with tuna sauce.
The Bar is open three days a week: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 6 pm till late night.
