Sparrow Hills

The observation platform on Sparrow Hills (Vorobyovy Gory), opened in 1953 together with the new building of the Moscow State University, is one of the most popular site among tourists: it gives the best panorama of the city, Moskva River, and a view of Moscow State University, it`s close to. The platform is at a height of 80 meters. The city is especially delightful in fine weather and late evening, when one can see thousands of lights twinkling around. The seventh is behind your back - Lomonosov Moscow State University. An even more breathtaking view opens from the top floors of the main building of MSU. Here you can find an impressive collection of the Earth Science Museum and an amazing rotunda at the highest level.
