BB Café
The interior of BB Cafe reflects classic design of Italian country house. Everyday over 250 guests from various countries open the doors of BB Café to enjoy its distinct cuisine and cozy view to alleys of old Moscow.
Chef Vladimir Kovalenko, who used to work in the restaurants in Italy in Swiss, is driven by principles of superb taste, quality and seasonality. He values originality of each dish, that’s why he keeps a perfect balance with author and original cuisine.
Menu of BB Café reveals gastronomic journey across Italy – from Rome to Bari, Sardinia, Sicily – and Russia – from North East to West Siberia. As a traditional Osteria, the restaurant offers Neapolitan thin-crust pizza, Sicilian flavored soup with sea foods, 15 types of pasta and risotto, Parma baked aubergine, Caprese salad with melting mozzarella. Most of fish, sea food, meat and poultry dishes are cooked on open fire. There is a section in Menu, called “Motherland”, which consists of 16 dishes of traditional Russian cuisine: borsch, white fish soup, herring with boiled potato, Navy-style pasta, Olivier salad, Siberian home-made pelmeni with pike perch and salmon, and others. Menu is updated each season, and the restaurant presents dishes with wild berries, herbs, fresh vegetables and fruits in summer, and traditional pickled, dried and smoked products in winter.
The Bakery of BB café deserves a special emphasis. Here, the guests will be pleased with amazing desserts, like bird-cherry cake with sour cream and raspberry sauce. Besides, the bakery offers classical desserts – tiramisu and apple strudel; fresh bread, home-made jam from walnut, cornelian cherry, queen apple and wild strawberry, cookies and other sweets.
The Wine Carte of BB Café has gathered 6 wine regions of Italy: Toscana, Piemonte, Veneto, Sicily, Campania and Umbria. Here, you can even find Sassicaia by Tenuta San Guido – an exclusive wine from Toscana. France, Germany, Spain and other countries are also presented in the Wine Carte.
