Photos of Constantinople taken during the second half of XIX century form the base of exposition from the collection of Pavel and Anastasia Khoroshilovs. The history of this amazing city counts many millenniums and it played a huge role in the development of such different empires: the Roman, the Byzantine and the Ottoman ones. The history of Turkish photography started in 1843 and this is really a great luck that we have an opportunity to plunge into its magic.
