Macbeth Premiere.

In the nave of St Andrews Anglican Church on October the 1st 2016, there will be clashing sword fights and a lone Scottish piper, there will be murder most horrid and ghostly victims walking abroad, moaning for bloody revenge; there will be brief candles and soaring organ music, there will be supernatural incantations and horrible bearded witches. There will be world class music and fabulous costumes. Then there will be heroism and tragedy beside human vanity and folly and pride, there will be action and pageantry and beauty and stillness. There will be poetry, catharsis, comedy and controversy, there will be art, there will be war there will be cruelty and justice, there will be revenge, there will be love; in short, there will be “all that’s best of Dark and Bright.” At St Andrews Anglican Church on October the 1st 2016, there will be a weirde tale, “a tale told by an idiot” and there will be the immortal words of William Shakespeare; It’s the premiere, it only happens once, don’t miss it…
